Legal bases

We process personal data only on the legal bases of Art. 6 (1) GDPR: server logs based on our legitimate interest in the secure operation of this website (lit. f), contact enquiries to carry out pre-contractual steps and to answer your request (lit. b and f).

Server logs

When you visit this website, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested page) in log files. This data is used solely for secure operation and is not merged with other data sources.

Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we process the provided data (name, email address, message) exclusively to handle your request. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required.

Customer account and licences

When you order a licence we create a customer account and store your e-mail address, company name, the licences booked (product, plan, status, term) and the identifiers of your payment account at Stripe. This data is required to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and is stored for the duration of the contract and afterwards within statutory retention periods (up to 10 years for invoice data).

Payment processing (Stripe)

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland. You enter your payment details directly at Stripe; we do not receive full card or account data, only the status and identifiers of the payment. Stripe processes the data as an independent controller for payment processing and fraud prevention; details at stripe.com/privacy. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Licence checks by the software

VectaroPOS, Nursono and Luma may query the status of a licence from our server. In doing so the licence key, timestamp and IP address of the requesting system are processed in server logs (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Content from the applications – such as patient, customer or message data – is never transmitted.

No tracking

This website does not use analytics cookies or any tracking or analytics services.

Language cookie

If you switch the language via "DE / EN", we store your choice in a cookie named "lang" (content: only "de" or "en", lifetime one year). This cookie is strictly necessary to display your preferred language (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and contains no personal data. Without this cookie, the language follows your browser's language setting.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process data based on a legitimate interest, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. An informal email to kontakt@vectaro.de is sufficient.
